Are residential colleges are teaching better?

HELLO SIR,
I am Pradyumna.This year I am going to step in College Education.I found This forum ,to be suitable to ask my question.
My question is,Whether it will be better for me to take admission in an old reputed college or in a RESIDENTIAL college? Whether teaching is better in the residential college or not?
